STAR - Support, treatment, advice and recovery

If you or someone you know is having problems with drugs and alcohol, we have services available to support you and those who are affected by it. With the right help and support it's possible for you to get drug and alcohol free, and stay that way.

STAR (Support, Treatment, Advice and Recovery) is a single front door to access drug and alcohol support services across Northamptonshire for:

  • residents with drug and alcohol problems
  • their family members and people affected by drug and alcohol use
  • professionals who work with clients that have substance misuse issues

You can access support for the services listed below by phoning 0808 169 8512 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm or by visiting the STAR website.

Support for under 18s

NGAGE with Aquarius is an early intervention drug and alcohol service for young people aged between 10 to 18 in Northamptonshire

Support for over 18s

Substance to Solution provides support for people over 18.

Family Support Link aims to reduce the physical, psychological and emotional harm caused to families who are living with or caring for someone who is addicted to drugs or alcohol

Peer support

The Bridge is a peer support project which links volunteers who have recovered from alcohol or drug misuse with members who have serious substance misuse problems
