Well Northants

The Well Northants programme works with some of the communities in North Northamptonshire that are most at risk of health inequalities, based on existing support as well as health and wellbeing needs.

Funding between £500 and £2,500 is available for resident-led community projects benefiting the following areas:

  • Avondale and Grange, Kettering
  • Kingswood and Hazel Leys, Corby
  • Victoria and Queensway, Wellingborough

We want ordinary people from these communities to decide how to allocate this funding.

There are community development workers for each of the areas and they can be contacted by emailing [email protected].

Write up your idea and get ready to share it. You don’t need to be experienced in applying for funding as the Well Northants team and your host organisation will provide all the support you need to bring your idea forward. We’ll also help you understand our funding rules.

When applying, you will need to send in a 3-minute video explaining your project idea with the application. We can't accept applications without a video submission - guidance on uploading a private, unlisted video to YouTube is available.

Host organisation

Residents can apply as groups or individuals but must have a host organisation to support them.

If you have an idea but do not have a host organisation, we will link you to a suitable organisation. Email us at [email protected].
