Bin service over Christmas

Find out what is happening to the bin collection service over the festive period including any collection date changes and what to do with Christmas trees and excess waste.

What to do with extra general waste

We can't accept side waste accepted for your general refuse bin. Bin lids must be closed as we will not accept any overfilled bins.

Please take any excess waste to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre for disposal.

What to do with extra recycling waste

You can present any extra clean, dry and loose recycling in an open cardboard box if the weather permits this. Alternatively, use a clear plastic bag next to the bin.

Excess cardboard must be flattened and stacked neatly against the recycling bin if the weather permits this.

Polystyrene can't be recycled.
