EV chargepoint grants for schools and educational institutions

This grant supports state-funded schools, colleges, nurseries and academies with the cost of installing EV chargepoints for staff and visitors. Organisations can apply for up to £2,500 per socket for up to 40 sockets across all sites, helping reduce carbon emissions and support staff to make the switch to an electric vehicle.

Grants for renters or flat owners

The Electric vehicle chargepoint grant for renters or flat owners helps people living in rented accommodation or flats install an EV chargepoint at their home. If you own or rent a flat, or live in rental accommodation with dedicated off-street parking, you could get up to 75% off the cost of buying and installing a home charger, capped at £350.

Workplace Charging Scheme

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) provides eligible businesses, charities, and public sector organisations with a grant to reduce the cost of installing electric vehicle chargepoints at their premises. The grant covers up to 75% of the purchase and installation costs, up to a maximum of £350 per socket for up to 40 sockets.
