Garden waste

We're working hard to get stickers sent out to everyone that renewed their garden waste subscription. If you haven't received yours don't worry - it'll get to you in early April and we'll still collect your garden waste in the meantime

Reusing is the most important way in which we can reduce what we throw away. Reuse is all about extending the life of something, whether it's an unwanted jumper or a piece of furniture.

From donating and buying from charity shops to refilling a water bottle instead of buying bottled water, there are many things that could be reused and have their life extended.

The following organisations accept unwanted items in good condition for reuse:

If an item can be repaired, there are a variety of shops and services in the county that could help repair your item instead of just replacing it – whether it’s an electronic item such as television or mobile phone, or even a piece of clothing. Use your preferred search engine to find somewhere that could bring your beloved item back to life!
