Planning conditions and obligations

Conditions

Permission can be granted subject to conditions (e.g. restricting what can be done on the premises or requiring specific approval for aspects of the development - such as the materials to be used).

Depending on the condition, these details may require approval before development can commence.

Legal agreements

Some permissions also have a signed legal agreement attached to them such as a Section 106 Agreement.

Alterations

The development must be carried out strictly in accordance with the approved plans. If small alterations are needed following permission, this may be possible through a non material amendment application.
