Inquiry
An in-person public inquiry is due to take place at:
Kettering Conference Centre
Thurston Drive
Kettering
NN15 6PB
Via the theatre entrance.
Sessions
Sessions take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday 22 July 2025 to Friday 25 July 2025
- continuing from Tuesday 5 August to Friday 8 August
- continuing from Tuesday 12 August to Wednesday 13 August 2025
Tuesday 22 July will start at 10am. All other days will start at 9:30am.
An evening session at Kettering Conference Centre is also planned (date to be confirmed).
Attending
If you want to attend in-person, email [email protected] and include your name, email address and your status (e.g. interested party or Rule 6 party).
This means we can contact you in the event that the meeting has to be held on Microsoft Teams and gives us an indication of the numbers attending.
So that those interested can participate, the programme provides those attending an opportunity to speak on the opening day (Tuesday 22 July and the evening session to be confirmed).
To make the best use of time and to avoid repetitious evidence, residents are strongly encouraged to nominate a spokesperson.
If a spokesperson is nominated, it is acceptable to refer to the number of interested parties being represented.
The Inspector does not want to hear the same point made multiple times and repetition will not add any weight to the evidence before him.
Interested parties who seek to repeat comments will be stopped from doing so to ensure the best use of inquiry time.
Interested parties should be prepared to answer questions which may be put to them by the relevant advocate.
For interested parties who cannot attend either the day or evening sessions, the Inspector has had sight of all the written representations made in response to the original application and those made for the appeal. Full account of those written representations will be taken in reaching his decision.
