Inquiry
An in-person public inquiry is due to take place at:
North Northamptonshire Council
Cedar Drive
Thrapston
Northamptonshire
NN14 4LZ
Sessions
Sessions take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday 4 November 2025 to Friday 14 November 2025
Tuesday 4 November will start at 10am. All other days will start at 9:30am.
An evening session at the same venue - Thursday 6 November, will start at 6:30pm.
Attending
There is limited space available at the venue and this will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to attend in-person, email [email protected] and include your name, email address and your status within the context of the appeal (e.g. statutory consultee, Rule 6 party, interested party).
This means we can contact you in the event that the meeting has to be held on Microsoft Teams and gives us an indication of the numbers attending.
To make the best use of time and to avoid repetitious evidence, residents are strongly encouraged to nominate a spokesperson.
If a spokesperson is nominated, it is acceptable to refer to the number of interested parties being represented.
The Inspector does not want to hear the same point made multiple times and repetition will not add any weight to the evidence before him.
Interested parties who seek to repeat comments will be stopped from doing so to ensure the best use of inquiry time.
Interested parties should be prepared to answer questions which may be put to them by the relevant advocate.
The Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State to hold the Inquiry is P. John Major BA(Hons) DipTP MRTPI. You may attend or arrange for someone to attend on your behalf and, at the Inspector’s discretion, express your views. Anyone wishing to speak at the inquiry should make themselves known to the Inspector or to council staff on the day, as the Planning Inspectorate will not respond to requests to speak at the event in advance of the inquiry.
