Changes to applications
Minor changes
We may ask for small changes to address any objections or concerns.
We allow one amendment to an application for householder or minor applications before deciding or determining the proposal.
Amendments may need further consultation so could delay things.
Major changes
If a proposal isn't acceptable, or requires more than just limited changes, we are likely to refuse it. This includes:
- a complete redesign being needed to address concerns
- not following previous advice
- the development doesn't meet published standards or our Development Plan
You will need to submit a new application and pay again so we recommend getting pre-application advice to save both time and money.
