North Northamptonshire Council will hold a Festival of Social Care at Wellingborough Library on Monday 18 July from 10am - 3pm to highlight the career opportunities within the sector.

Across the event, you will be able to find out how a career in the adult social care can be rewarding, the benefits of working for North Northamptonshire Council and current roles available.

As well as an opportunity to find out more about working in adult social care across the area, interviews will be available on the day.

Our Festival of Social Care is designed to showcase how rewarding a career in adult social care can be, but also show the excellent opportunities we have in North Northamptonshire.

I would encourage everyone to come along and have a chat with our team, even if you have never considered a career in adult social care or are not sure if you have the right experience.
Cllr Helen Harrison, the council’s Executive Member for Adults, Health and Wellbeing
Those individuals who work in adult social care across North Northamptonshire make such a big difference to people’s lives and this has been highlighted even more over the last couple of years. We are looking for local, hardworking staff who can help us provide high quality adult social care across a variety of roles.Cllr Jason Smithers, Leader of the council

The Festival of Social Care will take place from 10am - 3pm, with interviews held between 3pm - 5pm.
