North Northamptonshire Council is joining Local Government organisations across the country in a recruitment initiative to highlight the fantastic career opportunities available within North Northamptonshire Council and across the country.
The Local Government Association are the national voice of local government, and the Council is taking part in their national recruitment campaign this autumn which is designed to boost the Local Government workforce, with people being encouraged to ‘Make a Difference’ where they live with a new career working for their local council.
The campaign will highlight across the Council’s channels the reasons why a career in Local Government can really make a difference, especially to the people and place they know and love.
A career in local government can often be overlooked as people don’t appreciate the vast range of roles and the brilliant opportunities that are available. Working in the public sector is incredibly rewarding, you can make a real difference to people’s lives, help to shape and improve the area for future generations and deliver essential services to just over 360,000 residents. Our colleagues are our greatest asset, and they are essential to us delivering our Corporate Priorities for North Northamptonshire.Jason Smithers, Leader of North Northamptonshire Council
