Are your electoral registration details up to date?
Elections and voting20 January 2025

Canvass forms have been sent out across North Northamptonshire to help residents ensure their details are up to date on the register of electors.
The register is used for voting, jury service and updating your credit score, so not being on the register could have an impact when applying for a mortgage, loan, or even a new mobile phone contract.
If you’re not currently registered to vote and are eligible, you can register online on the Government website or call 0300 126 3000. Make sure to apply by 11:59 pm on Thursday 23 January in order to appear in the next register publication taking place on 1 February 2025.
The election office may also need to know if anyone else aged 16 or over and eligible lives at your address in order to help others register to vote too.
After publication, new ward boundaries, ward names and numbers of councillors for all North Northamptonshire Council wards and some Town/Parish Councils will be in effect. There will also be changes to some Polling Stations. Details will be confirmed on your poll card and election web pages.
You can find out more about the annual canvass and registering to vote on the election web pages.
