Apprenticeships success - Adults, Health Partnerships and Housing

Jobs and careers

16 May 2023

We’re sharing success from our directorates based on the apprenticeships their team members have completed or are participating in.

This is a great opportunity to gain insight to the apprenticeship experience with potential managers and apprentices.

Since April 2021, Adults, Health Partnerships and Housing has had the highest number of apprentices. The most popular apprenticeships the team have joined are:

  • Social Worker Degree, Level 6
  • Lead Practitioner Adult Care, Level 4
  • Business Administrator, Level 3
There are real benefits of having apprentices within the team and they are a vital part of succession planning for the team. Three of our team started as apprentices on level two, have stayed with the council and were successful in getting the trainee positions.Joanne Perry, Interim Void Repairs Manager, shares her experience of managing an apprentice

Other popular apprenticeships in Adults, Health Partnerships and Housing with places available:

  • Lead Adult Care Worker, Level 3,
