Nominating you for a property

You will only be contacted if you are to be nominated to a property. Before nominating you for a property, we will assess and verify your application. Our Housing Options team will then contact you by phone to discuss the nomination.

Depending on the number of properties advertised, it may take up to 10 days.

Make sure your phone number is up-to-date - if our team fails to make contact with you within 24 hours, your application will be skipped and the property will be offered to the next eligible applicant on the shortlist.

Agreeing to the nomination

If you agree to be nominated, the application will be passed to the landlord of the property who will complete their own verification checks and contact you directly. This may include a home visit.

You will also receive a letter from the team to confirm that you have been nominated.
