Election of Councillors - Higham Ferrers Ward

Voting in person

If you do not have a postal or proxy vote, you can vote in person at your allocated polling station. Your polling station is open from 7am to 10pm.

Please check your poll card carefully for details and the location of your polling station.

You don’t need your poll card to vote unless you are registered anonymously.
If you bring it with you, please take it with you when you leave the polling station.

You will need to bring an accepted form of photo ID with you. If you do not have an accepted form of ID, you can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate by 5pm on 4 June 2025.

When you arrive at your allocated polling station, a member of staff will:

  1. Ask for your name and address so they can find you on the electoral register.
  2. Ask for your photo ID to check if it’s accepted and looks like you.
  3. If your ID is acceptable, they will give you a ballot paper.
  4. Once you have voted, place it in the ballot box.
