Council tax energy rebate

We have started making payments of the £150 energy rebate to eligible residents who pay by direct debit. Payments are being made in batches as soon as system checks are complete over weeks commencing 9 and 23 May. Those paying by other means will be contacted soon

8 things to do at East Carlton Countryside Park

Visit Foxy’s Woodland Shop

Head along to Foxy's Woodland Shop in the heritage centre. There are more shops on the first floor available by appointment only.

Take a break in the cafe

In the heritage centre you can also find our cafe and extended indoor seating areas. Read information boards about the history of the steel works and iron ore.

Visit the playground

Enjoy the swings, basket swings, multi activity units, giant group rope swing and sand - bring a bucket and spade!

Follow the story ‘Perfect Flower’

Follow the trail around the park where you will meet many wooden carved characters on your journey.

Sleep under the stars

There is a campsite available to hire for camping only. It includes toilets, showers and camp kitchen.

Explore 102 acres of open space and woodland. Pick up a leaflet detailing the trails from the cafe.

A walking group meets every Monday and Wednesday morning in the car park.
