Cultural fund

The window for applications is now closed. A further update will be provided shortly.

Organisations in North Northamptonshire were asked to apply for capital funding to be used for cultural improvements.

We have been provisionally awarded £5 million from the Government to invest in cultural projects in our area. We asked for projects to be at least £500,000 or to have a strategic impact on our area.

To secure this funding, we need to complete an investment plan which details the projects we're going to use funding for. 

Projects

Any organisation in North Northamptonshire could apply.

Projects must positively influence the prosperity of our communities and there is no definitive list of activities that this funding can support.

Projects must detail how they will support levelling up and pride in the local area including:

• finance and budget
• value for money
• outputs and outcomes
• demonstrate how the project fits in with local priorities
• stakeholder support
• plans to deliver by March 2026

Projects need to meet legal requirements including Subsidy Control Act 2022 and public sector equality duty (section 149 of the Equalities Act 2010).

Funding must be spent by the end of March 2026.
