Well done to everyone who entered our Christmas art competition. We asked people aged between four and 16 years old to create a festive scene of their favourite place in North Northamptonshire.

We had over 100 entries and, after some careful deliberation, we have now chosen our favourites!

Winners

Congratulations to Ava who is our overall winner. Her festive design featured the Nine Arches Bridge in Thrapston looking very festive:

The winner in the Reception to Year 2 category was Sophie for her drawing of a snowy Barnwell Country Park:

The winner in the Year 3 to Year 6 category was Haiden who won for his festive drawing of Croyland Park in Wellingborough:

Anastasia won in the Year 7 to Year 11 category, for her striking Christmas tree adorning Wellingborough High Street:

The winners were presented with vouchers and a framed print of their design by council leader Cllr Martin Griffiths and Cllr Elizabeth Wright Executive Member for Children, Families and Education.
