Christmas art competition
It’s that festive time again - and to celebrate, we’re inviting children and young people to get creative and enter our Christmas art competition!
It’s open to children aged 4 to 16 years old, and this year’s theme is to create a festive scene showing young people’s favourite place in winter in North Northamptonshire.
Competition
The winning entries will receive a voucher and their creations will be shared on our website and social media.
Artwork can be hand-drawn or digital. There will be three age categories based on school year:
- Reception to Year 2
- Year 3 to Year 6
- Year 7 to Year 11
All entrants must live within North Northamptonshire and the use of AI to create artwork is not permitted.
The competition is free to enter, with the winning designs receiving a £20 voucher per age-group, with the overall winner receiving a £50 voucher, and a framed print of their entry.
Winners will be announced on Monday 15 December 2025. The best entries will be chosen by a panel of judges from the council.
We take your privacy seriously. When you enter the Christmas art competition we collect only the information we need to run the competition, such as your name, age, and contact details (usually from a parent or guardian).
- Why we collect your data - we use this information to manage the competition, contact winners, and display winning entries (with permission)
- Who sees your data - your personal information will not be shared with any third parties. It will only be used by North Northamptonshire Council for the purposes of this competition
- How we keep your data safe - we store your information securely and only for as long as we need it to run the competition. After that, it will be safely deleted
- Your rights - you (or your parent/guardian) can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time.

- Entrants must be aged 16 and under. One entry is permitted per person
- Entry to the competition is made by a parent, carer, grandparent by taking a clear picture of the A4 drawing and emailing it to [email protected] by 11:59pm on Friday 5 December 2025
- Paper entries can be delivered to the North Northamptonshire Council offices in Bowling Green Road, Kettering, NN15 7QX, by Friday 5 December 2025
- Please provide the name and age of the child, school year, the name of the parent, carer or grandparent, an email address and / or contact number. Your details will only be used for the purpose of this competition and to inform you if you win
- There will be three winners in total. The Christmas art designs will be reviewed, and the winners will be contacted by North Northamptonshire Council on Monday 15 December 2025
- No cash alternative to prizes is available and prizes are non-transferable
- If we receive no response from a prize winner within three days of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and another entrant will be selected
- By entering this competition all participants will be deemed to have agreed to have their first name, age and creative content shared in North Northamptonshire Council e-newsletters and on North Northamptonshire Council’s website, and social media channels
