Request a building control visit

We carry out site inspections at key stages of construction to check that building work meets building regulations from Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

To make it as simple as possible, we provide a list of inspection stages after you submit your application so that you know when we need to visit as works progress.

Please give 24 hours notice for site inspections, you can make the request by phone (leaving a message if needed) or by email.

When booking a visit, please provide the:

• application reference number
• details of the visit address
• date to be inspected
• stage of work to be inspected (as provided on the visit list)
• contact number for the person who will be on site
