Get involved with Adult Social Care
We know that people who use our services, and our communities, know their needs better than anyone else.
Your real-life experiences help us understand what’s working and what isn’t. We want everyone to feel welcome, included and listened to.
That’s why we’re committed to working with people to create a place where everyone’s voice matters - especially those with experience of using our services.
We want to do this through co-production. This means us working together as equals.
How it works
It is more than just asking for feedback - it’s about working together at every stage. From shaping ideas and making decisions, to reviewing how things are working.
We are working to make this part of everything we do in Adult Social Care.
It includes:
- recruitment of our managers - helping with interviews and setting questions
- helping us to write and review policies
- helping us to understand the needs of our communities
- supporting the training of our staff
- getting involved in feedback sessions and interviews to help us improve
- working with our senior managers to set budgets
- being a member of a project team - actively involved in various pieces of work from discovery to design
and more.
Get involved
We want to hear from people who have experience of social care, and people from diverse backgrounds. This also includes professionals and carers.
Join us by completing our online form.
Once we’ve received your form, we’ll reach out to you to understand how you want to get involved. We will also confirm any accessibility needs you may have. Email questions to [email protected].
