8 things to do at Fermyn Woods Country Park

Go on a woodland ramble

​Check the path conditions with the park, get your wellies or boots on and follow the orange trail. Look out for animal prints, jays, squirrels, deer and red kites. Try the long ramble to Wadenhoe village.

Hunt for butterflies

​Test your identification skills on the red route.

Go on the brass rubbing trail

​Arm yourselves with some crayons and paper and go hunting for the brass rubbing posts on the red route.

Climb around in the play area

​Try and climb all round the infinity loop in the play area, climb the castle or build a den in the great thicket.

Go fishing

Try to catch a wily carp or bag up on rudd from the big pit pond.
