Memorials in country parks

We can offer the following:

  • permission to scatter ashes
  • bequest and donation opportunities
  • memorial bench with plaques
  • memorial picnic table with plaque

We do not offer memorial tree planting in the parks.

Bequests and donations

We can accept donations or bequests towards the improvement of a particular country park and would discuss with you how this money could be used.

A bequest or donation could make your loved one not only a part of the park’s history but also part of its future.

Whether £10 or £10,000, all donations will be used to make a park a better place (e.g. by conserving wildlife habitats or contributing towards new facilities).

Memorial benches

Waiting lists, particularly at Sywell and East Carlton, are several years long so we recommend thinking about an alternative.

We plant a lot of wildflower seeds, trees and shrubs each year and some groups and individuals have donated money towards the cost of these activities in memory of a loved one.

We can’t plant individual memorial trees for people, but we can invite people to help plant the trees or seeds they have donated.
